About NHC
Neighborhood Health Care, Inc. (NHC) is a private, non-profit health center that provides primary medical and dental care to those who do not have adequate health care insurance. Also, NHC offers a payment plan based on the household income and family size for those who do not have health care coverage or a high insurance deductable and need to see a physician or dentist. We also accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances.
NHC operates five (5) community health centers: Mt. Auburn, Harrison, East End, Norwood, and the Walnut Hills/Evanston Health Centers, and four school-based centers located within Taft Elementary, Rockdale Academy, South Avondale Elementary Schools and Hughes Center. All of our centers are staffed with board certified experienced health care providers who are always accepting new patients.
NHC also operates an in-house pharmacy. This provides pharmaceuticals services to our patients. Through the pharmacy, patients may qualify for the prescription assistance program, which will allow them to receive medications at a discounted rate.
